Terms of Service

OpenAccess (openaccess.thinkroman.com) is operated by ThinkRoman Ventures LLP ("we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, apps and services (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

You are viewing the India version. The version that applies to you depends on where you receive services.

OpenAccess is a technology platform that helps you understand how you are feeling, find a qualified mental health professional, and meet them securely by video, voice or messaging.

• Therapy and counselling are provided by independent, qualified professionals ("Providers"), not by OpenAccess.
• Your care relationship is between you and the Provider you choose.
• OpenAccess provides the technology, scheduling, payments and support that make those sessions possible.
• Assessments on the Platform are screening tools. They are not a diagnosis.
• Services are delivered by people. Any technology we use supports your Provider; it never replaces them.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must give accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login codes and password private.
• Campus accounts are available only to students verified through their institution.

Providers are verified before they can see clients. Psychologists are expected to hold registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India where required, counsellors to hold recognised qualifications, and psychiatrists to be registered medical practitioners with the National Medical Commission or a State Medical Council. Providers are independent professionals and are responsible for the care they give.

• Fees are shown before you pay and are charged in INR (₹) through Razorpay.
• You can cancel up to 2 hours before a session for a full refund.
• If you do not join within 10 minutes of the start time, the session is marked as missed and is not refunded.
• Each paid session includes 10 days of complimentary text chat with your Provider.

By booking a session you consent to receive care remotely. Our Telehealth Consent explains the benefits, limits and risks of online care.

When you use OpenAccess you agree not to:

• harass, threaten or abuse Providers, staff or other users;
• record, share or publish sessions or messages without everyone’s consent;
• impersonate someone or give false information;
• use the Platform for anything unlawful or unrelated to care;
• try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Platform;
• arrange paid sessions with a Provider outside the Platform after meeting them here.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. See our User Conduct Policy.

You own what you write and upload. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the Platform to you and your Provider, as set out in our Privacy Policy. The OpenAccess name, logo, design and software belong to ThinkRoman Ventures LLP and may not be copied without permission.

The Platform is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it secure and available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Providers are responsible for the professional care they give. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded. See also our Medical Disclaimer.

You can stop using OpenAccess at any time and ask us to close your account. Some records must be kept for a period required by law; our Privacy Policy explains how long.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please raise any concern through our Grievance Redressal process first. Disputes are subject to the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that means you accept the new Terms.
